Who We Are Happy Pipes is a residential service company in Oxford, Mississippi built on systems, accountability, and growth. We run plumbing, septic and HVAC under one roof, with one dispatch, one job app, and one set of standards. What You'll Be Doing Every lane: - Running residential service calls at your current skill level, trained up from there - Diagnosing before replacing, and explaining your findings to the homeowner in plain language - Documenting every job in our job app with notes, photos, readings, and clean closeouts - Maintaining your truck, tools, and stock inventory - Completing paid training and weekly benchmarks Plumbing lane: - Drain stoppages, leaks, no-water calls, water heaters (tank and tankless), fixtures and angle stops - Drain machines, jetters, and sewer cameras - Water and drain line repair and replacement, including under-slab and repipe work in copper, PEX, CPVC, PVC, and cast iron Septic lane: - Tank pumping and inspections, lift and grinder stations, pump and float replacement - Drain field and distribution box diagnosis - New system installs and repairs as you qualify, working to MSDH permits and setbacks HVAC lane: - No-cool and no-heat calls on split systems, heat pumps, gas furnaces, air handlers, and mini-splits - Electrical faults: capacitors, contactors, relays, control boards, low-voltage wiring - Refrigerant pressures, superheat and subcooling, recovery, evacuation and charging to spec - Seasonal maintenance and tune-ups, airflow and static pressure readings - Changeouts and new installs as you qualify You'll be matched to work at your current skill level and trained up from there. We are not going to hand you something you have no business running. How the Hiring Process Works (Fast and Structured) We hire carefully and move fast for the right person. You can be hired in as little as 7 to 10 days. The process: 1. Apply, tell us your trade, and answer a few Who / What / When questions 2. Complete a short questionnaire 3. Optional: record a brief video introduction, or skip it and submit 4. Interview (Zoom and/or in person) Every applicant receives a response. What We're Looking For - Hands-on experience in plumbing, septic or HVAC, or strong mechanical aptitude and a real desire to learn a trade - HVAC lane: EPA 608 certification, or actively working toward it. Federal law requires it to handle refrigerant. If yours has lapsed, tell us - Plumbing lane: willingness to work toward Mississippi apprentice or journeyman licensure with our support - Comfort diagnosing before replacing, and showing your reasoning - Valid driver's license and a clean enough record to drive a company truck - Ability to lift, dig, climb, and work in attics, crawlspaces, and on rooftops in Mississippi summer heat - Willingness to run an on-call rotation during peak season - Coachable attitude and strong work ethic - Professional communication with homeowners and teammates If you want guaranteed pay without expectations, this won't be a fit.
